Fall 2017 Newsletter

October 14, 2017

It is starting to feel and look more like fall… and with it comes the Fall Schedule (35 classes/week).  There are not too many changes to the schedule, but a few I would like to bring your attention to are the following:

Wednesday 6:30 p.m. – 8:00ish p.m.  TRX Circuit This is a 90-minute class that starts with a 30-minute cycling class that rolls into a TRX/Weights/Rowing/kitchen sink Circuit class…

Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Cycling The 90-minute Cycling class is back on Saturday mornings.

Saturday 9:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Barre The barre class has moved to accommodate the aforementioned Cycling class.

Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Kickboxing is back.

Sunday 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Cycling

Sunday 9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. TRX Circuit (putting the 2 Sunday classes together would give you a very good workout and exactly what we do on Wednesday night).

Book Club has moved to Monday evening at 5:45 p.m.  The next book is In a Cottage in a Wood by Cass Green and narrated by Lisa Coleman.

For a complete schedule please refer to the attachment in Signup Genius.

I have been given a very unique opportunity to borrow a rower for the studio and I would like to thank Derek for his generosity.   I have been trying to incorporate rowing into classes to see if there is an interest…  I believe the answer is yes and I have added rowers to my Christmas list.

Expansion.  I feel that I have talked about it enough and it is time to move forward.  The project is starting to pick up traction and it is my hope that it will be done before the end of the year.

Save the Date for the next Underground Cycling FIELD TRIP Sunday, October 22, 2017 Noon We are heading down to Salem, MA for a personal tour of the Witch City by our very own Michelle.  Please let me know if you are interested in attending.  If there is enough of us attending a van may be necessary.

Lastly, Underground Cycling was started with three goals.  First, to provide boutique fitness classes at a sustainable price.  Second, members would benefit from all additions to the studio and third, I would have friends to workout with.  This month is Underground Cycling’s 4th anniversary and keeping the first mission in mind prices have not changed.  Over the past four years the growth and changes to the studio have been exciting and there is more to come.  With that said and lots of consideration, it is time that I increase my prices.  As of January 1, 2018, the monthly membership will increase to $60.00.  The 8-class punch card will increase to $80 and the 16 to $152.

I would like to thank you for your continued support and trust in me with your fitness goals I do truly appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Lisa
